Whenever I try to use the phone the recent apps button activates. I know for sure I am not touching it. It activates 2 or 3 times within half a second. Makes the phone impossible to even use. I managed to do a factory reset. I could hear the recent apps button sound going off during the setup...

I hear what you are saying and I do that. The problem is that they can immediately delete something after they send or receive it. So surprising them would only work if I did it when they were in the middle of a text. There are third party services online to monitor the phone...just a bit...
