Recent Apps button activates on its own. Randomly and many times. S7 Edge

Whenever I try to use the phone the recent apps button activates. I know for sure I am not touching it. It activates 2 or 3 times within half a second. Makes the phone impossible to even use.

I managed to do a factory reset. I could hear the recent apps button sound going off during the setup!!

Any ideas before I try and get it replaced?

Hi! How long have you had your Samsung product? If it's still within the warranty window, or even if it isn't,I'd suggest bringing it in for a replacement. I'm not entirely sure, but it sounds like it may be software-related. Please keep us updated on what's happening.

I am going to have to call Samsung...I don't think they have a repair center anywhere near me.

What about a cellular repair shop? But yes, calling Samsung would be your best bet.

Mine did the same. Nothing would fix it. It was an insurance replacement so I took it back. Freaking annoying. Couldn't get anything done.

Do your have a screen protector on it? That may be the cause too...
