Hey, I've been bouncing between the Galaxy Gear S and my Moto360. I find the 360 to be more relevant as AW support is much more incorporating than the fragmented,tiny development group that the Gear S has. Only thing that I miss is being able to reply to text via a keyboard or at the very least...

I was curious if anyone has used their s health on their gear to track total heart rate when doing cardio at the gym (bike or eliptical) . I was hoping for an option that just tracks your heart rate without tracking position and was thinking that the feature already exists and I'm not seeing...

Hey as an FYI, I've been hammered with Google now updates through your app since the last update even when I unchecked Read Google Now notifications. I ended up having to disable the app.

Yeah that looks pretty obvious and no cloud icon or anything indicating handoff from stand alone to remote connection. Gotta love Verizon. They Charge the MOST out of any carrier and they are behind in firmware/software updates. $400 of love.

Not quite sure if I see it. Here is a screen cap of the status bar on the gear and one of the phone showing remote connectivity is established. I see no change on the watch indicating this connection is active.

I'm using the Verizon Gear S and the annoying blue light stays lit the entire time it's plugged into power. I covered it using duct tape. Terrible design choice IMO.

On Verizon, I've confirmed that on cellular/no Bluetooth, my texts come from my cell phone's number but outgoing voice calls has been confirmed to come from the gear's phone number. I rarely make outgoing calls anyway so that doesn't bother me at all since texting works just fine.

Re: Verizon price drop but u have to wait... Sold I bought mine outright and added it to my data plan at a Verizon store for $400 two days ago. Do I quality for any discount or did I just get shafted?

Just an FYI I just picked up the Gear S today and It's been great. I just went from 2% to 54% using the charged backup cradle in about an hour. What a great perk :) . Do you guys keep GPS enabled or does that drain the battery significantly?

Having the same encounter. Read Google Now Notificaitons are confirmed to be checked off but I still get them.

So based on what I read here I pulled the trigger and got the Gear S and will be selling my Moto360 :) I am very happy with the S so far and the keyboard is surpisingly quick and accurate! I plan on testing the navigation feature on this shortly. Very happy so far and I have until January to...
