OK - thanks! So how can I be sure that the books are actually saving on the card and not the internal storage. I have it set for saving to the card, but hoped there was a way to verify that. Thanks again!

I just installed a micro SD card on my Fire 7 tablet and can't see any of my Kindle books on that card. It "seems" that new books are being stored there, and I can see and read them in the Kindle app, but there isn't a folder on the SD card, or any indication of where those books actually are...

Thanks for the help! I knew it had a small drive - but it was pretty inexpensive and I am hoping to use it mainly to download Kindle and get email. I am planning an SD card, so that should take care of the storage - but I do wish some of the apps could run from the SD card in case it gets tight...

Thanks! Yes - I am planning on getting an SD card set up - so that will take care of storage for any books, photos, etc. I don't have Amazon Prime, so the SD card will hopefully work. I wish it had more internal storage, but since I'm really not planning on adding many apps - I'd just as soon...

I just got a Kindle Fire 7 2022 version and have a question about a micro SD card. If I format that card as internal storage, will all apps be able to run from it, or will those remain on the initial 16 gb storage? If I format it as portable storage, what can be stored on it - I understand this...

Thanks so much! I guess I can try it as internal and see how that works, since that is probably the way I'd want it to work to give it more storage. I can always reformat it to portable - just keeping in mind that I'll lose whatever is on it, right. And I can play around with the old card first...
