I have had the same experience as the OP. Came from a storm 2 which I had for 2 years without a scratch on the glass, GS3 gets several scratches within the first month. Same type of use, same pockets, ect. Now I am basically forced to use a screen protector and case and never needed either...

I went naked for a month or so but the phone was so slippery and I didn't like the screen laying flat when face down so I put on a Rock "quicksand" case and am really really happy with it. It is not thick at all and feels better than the naked phone. Got for about $12 on amazon.

I just started using Juice Defender app a couple days ago, seems to really reduce the amount the battery drains when the phone is not being actively used.

I gave up trying to use the "keep on device" pin and now just D/L the mp3 files to my computer and then transfer to the phone over the USB connection. You shouldn't have to use a computer as the middle man but I can't find the way to actually D/L the songs directly to the phone.:(

I had to D/L the Samsung G3 drivers to get MTP working properly with my work desktop (Windows XP) but had no problems using my home computer (Windows 7 64bit) without needing to D/L anything.

Re: WiFi losing connection at random, needing toggle to reconnect I have the same problem with the S3 dropping WiFi randomly both at home and at work. Sometimes it will work no problem all day, sometimes less than an hour (never really timed it) before I have to manually reconnect.
