I originally fell in love with the 816, but never got my hands on one. Gave up WP because Microsoft doesn't know what it wants out of mobile, got the 820 and 510 and I'm loving life right now lol.

Lol I wouldn't mind red. I come from the land where red, cyan and yellow are standard colors.

I love it, easily top 3 phones I've ever owned. The Active Display is my favorite feature.

I finally caved in and got a Moto X, mainly because Microsoft is in identity crisis mode as of lately. Trying to hard to be Android so why settle for an imitation? Everything that attracted me to the OS in 2011 is dead so now I'm back after a long hiatus. And the apps here are leagues better...

Nope, found it too late. Blew my money on another Windows Phone.

It has LTE, but I think the China freq is different than everywhere else. eBay has those Square Trade 1 year warranties with electronics for $30.

Slipped out ≠ slippery. Just because it's slippery doesn't mean you have to drop it every 5 minutes. Slippery phone is slippery.

I think 4.7" to 4.8" seems to be the sweet spot for me, and I have some pretty big paws.

I was looking into the HTC Desire 816 and it looks like a hell of a phone, but everyone seems to only be eyeing high end phones. This Desire looks like a beast, won't be a slouch and the price should be in the immaculate range.

For you to like your phone that much is pretty deep. Everyone seems to agree that it's one of the best handsets out at the moment. Really excited for it.
