    I made a boo boo and flashed stock B13 Chinese to my A2017U via EDL and can't get a cell signal at all. I've tried using a stock A2017U EDL file to get it back to the american 2017u with no luck, keep getting errors.

    It should work fine, the only problem you may uncounter is the size sim card size. The s5 uses micro sim and the Alcatel probably uses nano sim.

    No os installed are you sure you wish....

    Look up your model number on www.sammobile.com under firmware and that should help you reinstall your OS, or find a flashable zip and install from TWRP.
