I would love to have haptic feedback again for my samsung j7 2016. I'm new to androidcentral. Any idea how to bump this thread? Maybe there's a way, but I haven't found it. I'm looking at the exact same settings screens as you posted.

None of the above worked for me either, But I DID FIGURE OUT A WORKAROUND. I use Andmade Share Pro (the do have a free version *linked* But I say buy it to support GOOD, UNOBTRUSIVE developers, But I digress...) Anyway, whether you have previews on or not, click the link in the stock SMS app...
