Interesting. Mine never showed any pencil icon at all. The only icon I ever got was the Settings gear, no matter how far I pulled it down or up.

The problem happens any time i restore any Google Android information on initial setup (apps, call logs, passwords, etc.). I have done a bug report with Oneplus and am going to send them over log files so they can hopefully fix it for future folks.

I want to add that I just tried ONLY restoring the google call history and passwords (I told it not to restore apps), and the problem still persists. So it seems that any restoring of Google information on initial setup is causing the problem.

I am currently downloading all apps, then I'll make a backup with oneplus switch, and do another factory reset without restoring the apps through Android.

Did another factory reset and restored apps, and the problem is back again. The quick settings area is completely blank.

Just curious, did any of you with no issues have Android restore your apps on initial setup? The 3 times I tried that, I had issues. I just did a reset without restoring apps and now the quick tiles are available. I am about to do another reset while trying to restore the apps again to see if...

Mine had the quick tiles visible for maybe the first minute or two, then they went away and haven't been back.

Factory reset did not fix the problem for me. I submitted a bug ticket to OnePlus, so hopefully I hear back soon.

I never used the original ADW, but ADW 2 has pretty solid report. When I was using it I actually reported a bug on Google +, got a quick response, and it was fixed in the next beta version. I haven't used it for a few months, but I still regard it highly

ADW Launcher 2 is the only one I've found to actually offer comparable featurs and speed to Nova. I especially liked the different settings for Icons and the Widget maker. I always wanted to like Action Luancher, but it has always seems lacking in performance to me.
