My ATT LG G2 is rooted, and I installed TWRP recovery. I did a stupid thing and "accepted" the ATT OTA update. After that, the phone just booted into recovery. I tried doing the same things you mentioned above, but nothing helped. I then tried the fix posted in XDA, but that didn't work, either...

I've only had the phone for a month, and I'm not a heavy user. But I haven't had any of the problems others have noted. The first and only shield I installed is still on the phone, it installed easily, and you can hardly tell that it's there. I have the AT&T version of the phone.

I bought SuperShieldz screen protector for the G2 on Amazon: Amazon.com: super shieldz for lg g2 Pack of 6 for $2.49 + $2.99 shipping. Perfect fit on G2. I recommend them if you want a screen protector.

I've always used Easy Uninstaller to uninstall apps, but Easy Uninstaller didn't list ATT Address Book. I have Clean Master installed on my phone, but I've never really used it, so I didn't think to try it. If and when I decided to uninstall the other bloatware, I'll use Clean Master.
