when you download a launcher does it wipe your homescreen clean to where if i dont like it i have to re add all my apps where i want them or does it just replace the home screens and keep all urs apps where they are without having to re add them?

ive never used a launcher before. first, does the phone have to be rooted? second, is nova that much better than go launcher ex? thanks

i went with an iottie and used an adhesive disc to put on my dash since it was textured. absolutely love it. sell them on amazon. i looked forever to find a mount to put somewhere else that was easy to use 1 handed, all ports accessible, and can adjust to any angle, yet held the phone secure...

no problems with jewel ballistic case. so far like the case. as slim as you can get.my 3rd ballistic case

I have had ballistic cases so far and have found those to be the best. on my s3 i had the tough jacket and the ls smooth series. for the s5 i got the jewel now and it is as slim as you can get but the ballistic style corners. havent dropped the phone yet but hopefully it protects like the past...

How many people are using light flow with the GS5 and are you having any problems at all? Have it? Had it? Love it? Hate it? debating about buying it but want to hear some opinions first thanks!

even if it shows up on gsm batt monitor i would try samsung link first. it doesnt seem right but cant hurt as i know those two run a media process in the background. my dcmprovider is 0 since i turned link off

i replied previously to your thread and i believe it is not the dcmprovider. try turning off samsung link and see if that fixes it. they are both linked to a media process that is running.

What does GOOGLE SYNC APP DATA actually do/sync? Should I keep it on? thanks!

Re: DCMProvider. ???? if you are having the same problem as me it is not the dcm provider. its actually samsung link causing the media process to run. the media process runs for both. i thought it was dcm at first but turned out to be samsung link. try it.

samsung link was in fact the problem. turned off and battery is stellar now. i did use gsm battery monitor which worked great. would def recommend it to anyone with battery draining apps or processes. thanks for all the help guys

Re: About had it with the S5 already pull your sd card then restart your phone and see what happens. that will tell you if your sd card needs reformating. with samsung link, it keeps the cpu running cuz its either searching for other samsung devices or trying to upload pics etc to another...
