Have you updated to a 22?

Except no earphone jack and no memory card slot. Unfortunately I know this is pretty much true for any upgrade today. Probably why I'm still holding onto (using) my Note 9 [emoji6]

    Still love my Note 9

As do I. Picked up a couple of Note 9s 128GB via a BOGO offer on launch day through Costco. The second phone sat unused until about a month ago when my SO's battery was not lasting enough to complete a marathon with music and a running app working. So, prior to the Chicago Marathon earlier this...

    Note 9 in 2021

No screen burn at all. But then again, maybe I'm not considered a heavy user. Probably explains why I'm still on the original battery [emoji57]

    Note 9 in 2021

I don't consider myself hardcore, but I bought our 2 Note 9s on launch day back in August of 2018. Wife's is the 128 and I've had to add a 256G mem card to it (she takes a lot of pics). Mine is the 512G and I'm not close to filling it up. Don't even think I'm at 50% capacity yet (134.7G out of...

Rumours abound... But man this looks awesome. Upgradetastic!

Hmmm, seems to be a disconnect here [emoji2955]

Rumours abound... But man this looks awesome. Upgradetastic!

This might be too late for some folks who've already used the Samsung trade-in offer, but this Verizon offer seems tempting in that I can unload a phone (got a couple of Droid Turbo 2s collecting dust) other than my Note 9. Who would trade-in their Note 9 when they can unload a door stopper for...

Rumours abound... But man this looks awesome. Upgradetastic!

    Tempting, but they don't make a distinction between a 128GB Note 9 and a 512GB Note 9.

    A Worthy Upgrade?

Same boat. Note 9 keeps chugging along. Have not needed to add a SD card when I can't even utilize its current memory. My SO, on the other hand, had to add a 256GB SD card since her Note 9 was only the 128GB version and it filled up pretty quickly.

    February 2020 Update Download Error

Whatever. Had you bothered to read the info in the link I "helpfully" posted, you would've seen this. What a concept. And you still needed to contact Samsung? Guess our word isn't good enough for you. I'll be sure to ignore any future posts from you.

    February 2020 Update Download Error

Nice condescending attitude. I too had no issues downloading and installing the February security patch, however my phone is not a dual SIM but it is the unlocked Samsung 512gb Note 9. Since it appears you want to be spoon fed, Google yields many instances of other folks with this similar...

    "Your Phone Companion" app?

re: "Your Phone Companion" app? Did you upgrade to Android 10? If so, that's how you got it... at least that's when I noticed it in my phone. And like you said, there's no way to uninstall it [emoji2959]

    10 is total spy system

I noticed the same thing. Not sure if this was an issue in 9 as I had no reason to look since I typically had location off all the time (not that I believe our location is kept private). If I needed to run, ride or needed driving directions then I would manually toggle location. Shortly after...

android 10 One UI 2 is official for our beloved Note 9

Really? It's no issue for me. Bear in mind I'm using the stock alarm clock.

Yep. This was me last night. Still trying to figure out all the changes.

I think it's time to move on

You're right about the GUDP issue. About 6 months ago I added a new line of service via the BYOD option and received a $250 gift card. I remember they put that new line (or was it all of my lines?) on a metered data plan. I eventually got them to honor all my lines after bellyaching about it...
