me and my wife both have this issue. she has a 9+ and I have a 9. I never use speaker phone anymore because sometimes they can't even hear me at all and then I switch off speaker and everything is fine. it's not an isolated incident for us so neither one of us uses speaker phone

I'm on the March security patch so I don't know if that's the issue. one thing I forgot to mention was most of my settings went back to default. ringtones, keyboard settings, I was signed out of a lot of my apps. really weird
