I had gotten a Captivate from someone of Craigslist and it worked fine for almost a month then the random shut downs started happening. Funny thing is the last four of the IMEI was way above the affected batch numbers, but when I check Samsung's website to see when it was made it was before...

Same as ls377 except I bought mine from craigslist. It worked for almost month then I started having the random shut downs, after reading all the posts from everyone about it I called Samsung and they had me send it in right away. Getting it back this week. Good luck :)
