I've been worrying about the 2-step verification as well. I don't have my old phone anymore. How do I deal with the 2-step after the factory reset? Is there a backup method to get a code?

I'm running Chrome ver. 26.x on a Galaxy Note II. I can't figure out how to save a bookmark. The help says to touch the star icon in the omnibox. But there is no star icon in my omnibox. See attached screenshot. That being the case, how do you save a bookmark?
