Well I just opened Nova launcher, then system settings-apps-configure apps-set default launcher to Nova launcher. The screen still hangs on the stock launcher tho

Thank you so much B. Diddy , I was able to stabilize it, you and belodion were right... It was a ROM issue, I used Nova launcher instead of the stock launcher, and the hanging stopped. However if I use the stock launcher.... It starts hanging again. I'm just glad it wasn't a screen problem.

belodion, thanks, but it didn't help at all, and B. Diddy, I have tried safe mode, but it still hangs. I have a feeling it's not a hardware problem because my screen sometimes cuts in vertical halves, the full wallpaper on one side, and a black screen on the other...... I may be wrong so, what...

Thanks belodion, are you saying that wiping the cache will stop it, does that mean it's a software problem?

I don't know what the problem is, but whenever It hangs, locking the phone with the power button and unlocking stops it for a while, and when it happens again I just lock and unlock......it's becoming too frequent now. How do I know if it's a software issue(since locking and unlocking stabilizes...
