They are the same. Z3 is not mentioned on some as it's a new phone.

That's weird. If I connect the charger to the phone first and then plug it in to the wall socket it will not detect the charger, but if I connect it to the wall socket first and then connect it to the phone it will detect the charger. This is the Magnector X charging cable I am talking about...

Can anyone confirm, if you connect the magnetic charger to the mains (without turning the mains switch on) and connect the other end to the phone, then flick the mains switch on at the end, does the phone charge?

Metal on metal? I thought the Z3 is made of plastic not metal. I can see what I think is a tiny silver scratch on the black part where the magnet connects to, but that is to be expected I think as that's metal

I had high hopes for this, but looks like I'll have to give it a miss. I'm losing my patience with my moto g. I've been put off the z3 compact now, as I had the z1 compact and they had them scratchy plastic and glass panels with ASF layer on them. What's the point in having scratch proof...

Prices start at £419.99 for the 16 GB version. This is on the Clove UK website. Ridiculous. I thought the price would be around the £350 mark tops, but I'll just think about going with the Z3 Compact as it's the same price. Buy Motorola Moto X

Battery life is an issue for me working in building sites for long hours, but hopefully it should be OK as you've just explained.

I'm from the UK, I'm thinking I won't get to see the 16gb version soon nevermind the bigger storage versions. Hope it's not true though, we find out today the real specs.
