Sony Xperia Z3 Compact
This has the SD801 chipset with 20MP rear and 5MP front camera.
Thought 20MP was cumulative total for a camera with that chipset..
Guess I was wrong.
Makes me wonder about the Moto X2.
We will know soon enough.

I know, the Z3c is looking very appealing.

Anyone know what time (GMT) the event starts?

If the Sony z3 was on Verizon I'd give it a try. Looks great

Although I bet I'd regret it come the launch of android l. Moto will have it out in weeks and unskinned...

Sony was nearly tied with moto for the release of the latest version of android, ahead of everyone else. Sony has upped their game for timely updates since the Z1

Moto wins with updates, if that ranks high on your requirements.

Updates and very stock Android for the win for me so this or the Nexus is most interesting.

I love the design of the Z3 except the bezels but the main thing I can't get over is the skin over. I feel like I'm looking at a video game console when using it. If Sony went with near stock android I would be interested but Motorola is still my favorite. Can't wait for tomorrow

What a let down. It's actually tomorrow for the public, they will be answering the questions at 1:30 PM CT.

16gb storage and 2300 mah battery, fail if it's true.

I wouldn't let the battery size be too big an issue. The HTC one m8 with a 2600mah battery got double the battery life of the old Moto X according to anandtech due to the vastly more efficient snapdragon 801. With only a 300 mah difference I still think we will see a significant improvement in battery life vs the old Moto X.

Liking this so far if true.

Are you thinking there is only one size?

XTNiT-1060 through spacetime. Android Central Moderator.

I'm from the UK, I'm thinking I won't get to see the 16gb version soon nevermind the bigger storage versions.

Hope it's not true though, we find out today the real specs.

Battery life is an issue for me working in building sites for long hours, but hopefully it should be OK as you've just explained.
