Do you have a connections optimizer option? If so, you can turn it off. You'll have to manually switch networks after that, but it should fix your issue.

There are apps in the play store that can block communication from numbers you designate. Search for block calls and find the one that fits your needs.

Right now, I'm using Launcher Pro. Really easy to use, no bugs, and it's very customizable. It's the only app of it's kind that I've used. I know there are more like it, but I'd rather get feedback from personal use rather then spending time getting to know each and every one myself.

Just bought a S3 and I'm keeping my S2 as my mp3 player for when I'm driving. I can always connect to the internet and download more music through the Wi-Fi.
