    You need to de-select 'Skip Lockscreen' & they'll show up as they did previously. I see you have that option selected.

    Only button that disappears is the back button when it's not required. The pill is always there.

    No problems here so far. Did a factory reset before applying the update. Had a few hiccups with Android auto initially but all good now.

    I always do a clean Install when it's a major update as a matter of habit. As to whether it's needed, I'm not sure about that, but it doesn't do any harm.

    As regards reordering home screens on P.....that option has been removed: https://www.androidpolice.com/2018/07/18/google-removed-option-reorder-homescreens-android-ps-default-launchers/ Don't use dark mode so I can't help you there, although it works fine here.

    I would agree with cleaning FPS as it tends to gunk up over a period of time due to sweat & dirt from your fingers.
