Easiest way, is to CALL apple. They can remove your number from the iMessage servers. My wife and I both had this issue UNTIL finally calling in. Since then, no issue.

Re: Sync Manager and M8 I gave it a go... it did in fact get my contacts. But it's so slow on messages, images, music, that at this rate would literally take over a month to move them all. So, really kind of not working in my opinion. I'm cool for now though, got my contacts and manually setup...

This worked on new HTC ONE M8 - default "yahoo mail" setup listed in create new mail account would not work. The yahoo mail app sucks. Thanks smart woman, this worked perfectly!
