Can anybody confirm if the Sync manager will work with the M8.

Re: Sync Manager and M8

I gave it a go... it did in fact get my contacts. But it's so slow on messages, images, music, that at this rate would literally take over a month to move them all. So, really kind of not working in my opinion.

I'm cool for now though, got my contacts and manually setup all my email accounts and got my critical apps. Would be nice if it would load my images and music at a decent speed though.

Massive improvement!

Just managed to load 532 images in about 3 minutes.

Just FYI, I removed all the "default" galleries it wanted to load. Did an "export" from iPhoto of just the images I wanted into a new folder that I called "HTC Images" and then added that to the gallery settings. Simply clicking "sync" doesn't work (some of you pro HTC / Droid guys probably know that already). But you have to Shift Select ALL the images then "right click" and select "copy to phone".

I'm now doing the same for music as I can't all my music, not would I want to, onto the phone. So far, so good though.
