It seems pretty good to me. It is definitely good enough for my needs. Battery life has never been a problem for me so I don't worry about it.

It should work so long as your spen is close enough to the screen that is shows the cursor. I just did it and it worked but only if my spen was close.

If you export to google drive it also seems to do OCR on the pdf and it becomes searchable. I found that out by accident.

I just picked up a 32GB one today. I have another one in another device that has been working great. Those amazon sales are great.
