It honestly just sounds like a battery on its way out. Although I'm not saying that's what I think it is,but it reminds me of a couple phones I've had,both galaxy's. There wasn't any warning,they suddenly just turned to trash,and I could only charge with the phone off. It'd take all day for them...

Re: My Samsung Galaxy S4 is stuck on the logo screen after root. Something that's worked for me in the past in a bootloop was to use odin. I would install any recovery,or even reinstall root with it and it would boot back up. This was on the s5 at the time but I think it'll still help you...

Don't worry,between a note 3,s5 and now back on an s4,I've seen this message more times than I would hope. All it'll ever do is react a little slower when you tap the home button,since it needs to reload. Posted via the Android Central App

I can't believe this happened after the update. I guess I'm lucky,because my buttons work, but the back button doesn't light up anymore. I just turned the other light off too. Posted via the Android Central App

Have you done the factory reset or wiped the system cache? Another thing I've read,is that some people get better performance from completely wiping their phone and installing the update via odin. Mine gets about 3 and a half to 4 hours of screen on time before its completely dead. I'll note...
