I wouldn't: many new devices don't have both a removable band and sd card capabilities.

I have tried a lot. My understanding is that if I downgrade to 4.4.2, I can root my S5 easily. The phone refuses to take any software given by Odin (3.10.7). I have turned reactivation lock off, cleared the cache, factor reset the phone, and turned USB debugging on. Ideally, I would load 4.4.2...

Ok this was me. Any suggestions? (also I tried KingRoot)
