    Idk, I'm about to just give up. I tried 7zip thinking maybe it was just WinZip having an issue. I extracted and got the same thing. I opened the archive to see what's in it, and this is all that's inside of the .tar file.

    I downloaded WinZip and then when I unzipped AP_SM_G930_OREO_ENG_BOOT.tar all I get out of is a Disk Image File named boot

    One thing I noticed is that I'm not on Verizon's v_8 bootloader anymore. I'm on their most recent one, v_10. I think that may be why I can't flash the ENG_BOOT. I have come to the conclusion through my research there is, at this time, no way to unlock the v_10 bootloader

    I have an older s7 laying around that I was going to go ahead and try to root. It is a Snapdragon processor but I'm trying to use an Engineering Bootloader I found for Oreo. I have the 8.0 FW and 9.0 SE. My phone is through Verizon and I have the SM-G930V. I have tried all three different usb...
