Did you change the battery yourself? I'm wondering if the watch repair stores could do it. I watched a YT video and the battery is square. I went to the Samsung store and they checked that it is the watch that is not charging. Suggested an authorized fix it store to get an estimate.

I read a news article that Samsung Pay has extended to Interac, Visa, Mastercard etc in Canada starting November. I guess this is only for phones and not the watch? *update* read elsewhere that it's only for phone. Can't delete this post.

Endomondo has the same problem recently. It's random though. Before I save, the distance is correct. After I saved it, the summary doubles the distance. I have contacted Endo yesterday and they said they are aware of this issue. Hmmm, but S Health does the same thing...?

I was reading a post last week - either here or on xda - can't remember which. Someone mentioned a GPS app which you can install on the S3 to check when the watch has locked onto GPS before starting your preferred running app. Anyone knows of the app name? Thanks.

I used Endomondo, and GPS only locks at 16 sec on a cloudy day. Last year, I've written to Samsung re: locking GPS first before starting countdown. They replied that they have taken note of it. Not sure if it will ever be implemented.

Brucedroid, try setting location to only GPS. It's more accurate. Take a short trial run to see the difference between S Health & Strava.

Are you using S Health for your fitness tracking?

Someone in this forum or another gave a tip to set location to GPS only to get a more accurate tracking. I found it is pretty much more precise with GPS only. That said, I do not understand why and when the watch reverts the location back to GPS & Wifi only. It has gotten some of run messed up...
