Is factory reseting too much harmful

Nope, it's not a softbrick if games lag. I'm not sure why some games lag after updates, but I've had that happen too. Usually, a reset makes things smoother for a while, but it would depend on the game. After major updates, a factory reset is usually regarded as a good thing. However, there...

Is factory reseting too much harmful

I've reset phones a lot in the past, and had no issues. I'm not an expert, but I can't imagine how resetting would harm the phone. I guess there's a chance that something would go wrong with the resetting process and you'd softbrick the phone, but I've not heard of that happening from a regular...

Have you seen another Priv in the wild?

Nope, not seen one other BB phone in a long while (any OS). Certainly not seen a Priv, but I wouldn't necessarily notice it because it looks pretty much like any other phone unless the keyboard is opened.

    2 week review

I've had the Priv since the launch and I've enjoyed it. It's a great phone. I don't think it was worth the original price, but at the prices it sells for now it's a steal. I really love the keyboard and the other phone hardware is pretty nice. I wish I could find a nice screen protector for...

What's Your Default Messaging App? Lots of lag with Google's

I use Yaata. I've tried Textra, but I don't like it as much as Yaata.

Why bother with the S7 Edge now that there is the Note 7

The Note7 may offer slight advantages to the S7E, but that would only be significant if you were used to the Note features (S-pen). If not, the S7E is a great option. For me, I have an S7E and I don't want/need to waste money on a Note7 given that I don't use the features it offers over the...

Quick Charge for Over Night Charging?

You can use it, but there are a bunch of studies that show that you should not wait for the phone to discharge a lot before charging it. They suggest that you 'top-up' the phone several times a day. With quick charge that's easy to do. Of course, I've not actually used any phone for long...

    Blackberry started it...

Well, they'll still only have two models to update, so I imagine that updates will be as regular as they've been on the Priv.

    getting tired of the HUB

I don't use Exchange, so I cannot help you with that. I'd assume that the Outlook app would handle that we'll, though and it's a great app in its own right.

    Marshmallow Update on AT&T

Yep. If you don't keep it charged with money, and don't use it, they deactivate it. You then have to call then up to reactivate it before you can get the updates. It's annoying, but it works.

    getting tired of the HUB

I like the hub. No, it's not the same as the Hub on BB10, but that's not to say it's bad. It was laggy at first, but it's been getting better with each update. However, BlueMail is great, as is Gmail and Outlook (which has calendar integration). I don't need all the social apps to feed into...

    BlackBerry Apps on S7 Edge

In that case most players will work. I'll admit that VLC is not the most intuitive player, but it will do the job. Samsung Music should be on your phone, and it may be easier to use.

    BlackBerry Apps on S7 Edge

That depends on what you want from your music app. Play Music is the usually recommended app for purchasing/playing music or podcasts, etc. I use VLC to play my music. I like it and it plays the multiple codecs that I use for my music files.

Why does my S7 change words when exclamation point/question mark is used?

Yep, this was annoying. I immediately switched to the BlackBerry keyboard, and have not looked back since. I can't believe they didn't catch this bug.

Just got my s7e, need help

Yep, you've got a good phone. Samsung includes some perfectly usable apps for most of your normal phone usage functions (certainly for most things that the Passport provided). No, it's not the Hub, but you'll get used to the notifications on Android. Otherwise, you'll find equivalents for any...
