I just confirmed it with both Samsung and tmobile that they won't update my phone's firmware because it's an international version. It's a bummer and will influence my phone upgrade later this year.

I wonder what the deal is. I don't think I'll get another samsung phone.

Are there anyone who hasn't got 4.3 OTA yet among international owners? My GT-N7100 is still sitting at 4.1.2

It surely feels that way as my n7100 international note2 thinks 4.1.2 is the latest while I see others getting 4.3. I'm in US.

Disabled and stopped the stock Messaging, and no more SMS messages until I enabled it back...no hangouts replacing the functionality. Probably have to wait for 4.3?

Supposedly, hangouts can be the default SMS app with the latest. I can't figure out how with note2. Google's help said to go to settings -> SMS, except no such folder...

This is exactly what I want. I don't get why Gmail app only covers for Gmail. It can do so much more

I've been longing for one official email app that unifies the stock spp with Gmail app.

I'm not asking for every day update. Rather I want the assurance that my device won't be outdated not because the hardware is outdated but the manufacturers deserted it. Yes I agree that Google is fine but Samsung sucks @$$.

I'm not sure if it's 4.3 or Nexus 7, but when I try to run some apps in the secondary user account in my new Nexus 7, it crashes immediately. It runs fine in the primary account. Anyone has any idea how I can fix this?

I have an international version and got a firmware update. Except it's the same 4.1.2 as before. I don't know what changed then... Anyone has any clue? It's not xxdme1 either.

Go with S4 or Note 2. It's the closest to iPhone among android phones. While some people complain about TouchWiz, it certainly makes it feel more like iPhone. Stock android is too plain and barebones until you start adding/modifying stuffs to it. Sure, some people enjoy tweaking like it though...

Mine is arriving tommorrow for the broken speaker. They shipped it ground and took 6 days to come sine the shipping notice. I'm curious if they fixed mine or replaced it with a refurb.

Mine updated a little while ago in the States not in December or January. Be patient and it'll get there, I think. ;) I read they were fixing battery issue with the patch.
