Trying to update via my device, it says it's up to date. Kies indicates there's an update, but it crashes every time it tries to install it. I'm in Louisiana.

Overall, I love the phone. I notice the screen, but it doesn't really bother me. The only reason my battery dies quickly is because I use Latitude, which tends to be 1/3 of my batter usage >_< Even then, I'm still getting 15+ hours out of it.

Also coming from the Storm 1. Thus far the Bionic has given me little reason to not love it.

Re: can someone confirm if this works? I've been trying the same thing between my Bionic and Galaxy Tab 10.1. Someone else said they got that working, but despite getting everything set up right (as far as I can tell), the Tab doesn't seem to recognize that it can snag data from the Bionic.

When I got mine yesterday, the rep specifically asked me, unprompted, if I wanted the $30 unlimited tethering plan that I was eligible for since I had unlimited data. I turned it down, but the offer was there.

Sweet. Gonna definitely give this a shot. Edit: I think I've done everything correctly. They are connected to each other, and everything seems to be doing what it should be, but I can't get the browser to actually work.

Picked mine up about two hours ago. Took about an hour for the activation to finally go through. The rep started the process and sent me home with it while it tried to finish. About 30 minutes later it said it failed and prompted me to retry. Once it restarted it activated with no problem...

I'm also in the "it's time to get rid of my Storm 1" boat. I was upgrade eligible towards the beginning of the summer, and almost went for something else until I did a bit of research. Wasn't expecting to have to wait this long on the Bionic, but I suspect it will be worth it. Definitely well...
