I found the issue is caused by the camera screen protector, even if it's centered perfectly it still causes this issue. Don't buy this brand if you want to avoid this problem...

I have a Pixel 8, and when I take a photo with the flash on in a dark environment, I noticed that the flash is not a bright white color. Additionally, when I look at the photo afterwards, it looks horrible. I took the same picture at the same distance with a Pixel 4a 5G, and the photo was fine...
