Pixel 8 weak flash

I have a Pixel 8, and when I take a photo with the flash on in a dark environment, I noticed that the flash is not a bright white color. Additionally, when I look at the photo afterwards, it looks horrible. I took the same picture at the same distance with a Pixel 4a 5G, and the photo was fine. I wonder if I got a defective unit or if this is a problem with the Pixel 8. Does anyone else have this issue?

I found the issue is caused by the camera screen protector, even if it's centered perfectly it still causes this issue. Don't buy this brand if you want to avoid this problem.

Welcome to Android Central! I would generally avoid camera glass protectors completely, and instead rely on a good case to protect the camera bump. That extra layer of glass adds too much risk of additional refraction/glare, in my opinion.
