Last night I finally got this sorted by manually updating using Odin. Details on what I used are HERE. Hopefully I'm able to get OTA updates going forward.

Hi, I've got an AT&T branded Note 9 and I'm stuck on the August security patch. Build number ending in ARH4. I've rebooted, checked for updates OTA and using Smart Switch. Any suggestions? Thanks, -Brett.

Update - I got approval last night and the shipping is listed as "week of September 24".

I claimed mine via the app on 8/25 @ 4:47 PM and it still says "review in progress". Does this seem normal (for it to be in the review status for almost 4 days)?

I've never done a Best Buy (in store) preorder before. I wasn't able to order it online so had to do it in the store this evening. Do they typically wait till release date to make them available, or do they release them early if/when they get them in?

You can do that, but it doesn't bring back Now On Tap. Instead, when you long press the home button with Assistant off, it just gives a message that the assistant is off and asks if you would like to turn it on. -Brett.

I have it on my AT&T Note 5 as of yesterday and... how do I get rid of it. I don't want to talk to my phone like that. I work in an office and don't care to let everyone around me know my business. My main beef is that I've lost the quick access button that Now On Tap had to create a reminder...

Bummer. Hoping for something to give a little visual definition to the notifcation area.

My wife's AT&T S7 just got Nougat and she hates the lightness and lack of contrast of the notification shade. I've tried some theses from the theme store and while some will theme the quick access buttons in the shade, none seem to theme the notificaitons themselves. Any suggestions? She's not...

Thanks for the pointer to that thread! My Note 5 was going nuts last night/this morning and I was going down the road of uninstalling updates that happened recently. Of course the Oculus stuff doesn't show in the Play store so I missed the fact that it updated. -Brett.

My wife's S7 is still on "PB5" with the Feb 1, 2016 security patch level. I have tried both over the air (including setting date ahead manually and re-checking) and via Smart Switch but no updates are found. I know the phone is very out of date. What gives? Is there something I can reset to...

Re: Any news on MM note 5 AT&T?? Turns out I lied. It's still happening but I can't figure out the conditions. Every once in a while it will prompt me for the password after unlocking using my finger print. Aggravating. I guess a full wipe is in my future. Is this happening to anyone else?
