How can I fix an internal memory problem on my Android/tablet?

internal memory problem on android/tablet

i have a prestigio multipad 8 hd, and my problem is that, when i go into settings, storage, my internal memory status says,

Total memory 0.00
Available memory 0.00

So it wont let me download anything or take photos, but will save screenshots.
If anyone else has had this problem or knows a fix please help

I have the same problem... Just rooted my tablet (it's the same one) and tried to fix this problem using online tutorials but none of them actually mork.
