can I postpone the update?

I dont have any wifi and my data limit is anoyingly close to the edge when my moto 360 comes in the mail do I need to take it somewhere that has wifi and update it before I can use it?

You probably do, as far as I've read. Also, from Jerry's post on Android Central, the first thing you'll want to do is CHARGE IT. Apparently the update will need 80% of your battery to do its magic.
