I have a moto g 2nd gen xt1064 global GSM that I bought for my jobs in Brazil and Spain. I got good coverage in Brazil, but here I have tried two different carriers and I always get 'E' service, never 3g. In both cases the APN was correct but I will reproduce my APN here just in case anyone has any suggestions. I currently have Orange.

Name: Orange Internet Móvil
APN: Orangeworld
Proxy: Not Set
Port: Not Set
Username: orange
Password: orange
Server: Not Set
MMSC: Not Set
MMS Proxy: Not Set
MMS Port: Not Set
MCC: 214
MNC: 03
Authentication Type: PAP
APN type: default,supl,agps,fota
APN protocol: IPv4
APN roaming protocol: IPv4
APN enabled
Bearer: unspecified
MVNO type: None
MVNO value: Not Set

Anyone know if these settings are wrong/preventing me from getting 3g. I have never gotten 3g in Spain, only E and G. Thanks for your help!

Welcome to Android Central! According to these sites, the only 3G (UMTS) band that both Orange uses and your phone supports is band 1 (2100 MHz). I don't know how Orange is, but perhaps they actually rely mostly on band 8 (900 MHz), with band 1 only in certain areas. Try calling Orange in Spain and see if they can tell you if one band is more important than the other.
