Moto G6 dual sim keeps reinsalling 1 April 2020 update (running Android 9)

So for the last few months, my phone has tried to run the above update lots of times (over 10, possibly 20) and has never worked. I got the phone rooted and maybe this is the problem. Was about to unroot it but the instructions said not to do it (with instructions I was looking at) if I was running Android 9.

So not sure what to do. Is there a way of fixing the error? I don't really want it rooted so how do I safely unroot it if the phone is running 9?
