I did a factory reset on my Moto G6 a while ago, also took out the sim card. Now I'm trying to turn it back on, but nothing works. Tried long pressing the power button, long pressing the power button with volume down button, long pressing power button with volume up button and long pressing the volume buttons separately by themselves. I plugged the phone in to charge, and the light at the top started blinking, so it should be charging, and it's been on the charger for a while now. Also tried using a different charging cord and just waiting to see if it needs more battery to power on. Is there any way to have it turn on, do I maybe need to insert a sim card? Please recommend ideas on how to get it to work!!!

Welcome to Android Central! Let it charge overnight without disturbing it, and then try again. If it still doesn't power on, the battery may have simply failed.
