Hey guys,

I'm new to this forum and hoping to get some advice from anyone who has experience with rooting.

Here's the details:

Motorola Moto G (2nd Gen) 4G XT1072
Motorola Device Manager
twrp-2.8.6.0-titan.img
SDK Manager + Platform tools

I've unlocked the bootloader through Motorola and flashed the twrp image to recovery. It says successful but when I choose to boot into recovery I get "No Command" with green android screen.

Am I using the right image? Does it first need to be installed with twrp manager on the phone?

Any help is much appreciated

Thanks

Welcome to Android Central!

It sounds like the recovery image is not flashing on to the phone correctly I would verify you have the correct image for your phone.
