is it still worth buying?

Yeah, it's a great phone and on the Nougat update list... Compared to current phones it's only drawback is battery life, using a ultra high resolution SuperLED screen it draws a ton of power, I average 3 to 4 hours of SOT in a normal day's use and the battery is pretty much near 0. Other than that, it's a great device and I have very little complaints about it at all, especially at the $250 for 32Gb or $275 for the 64GB version you can find on sale.

Wow! Where can i find the 64 gb version for 275? Best buy had the 32 for 269.

I bought my wife a new MXPE at Best Buy today for $249.99 -- like mine, it's a 32g model, but for her I got the white/white with platinum accents. I initially considered getting her the Moto Z Droid, but with the extra space required for the fingerprint reader (which neither of us has any desire to use) it's actually a little larger than the MXPE (even though the display is slightly smaller), it requires different charger cables (or USB-C adapters) than those we already have, it needs one of the "mods" attached to make the back appear properly finished, and with all that would have cost three times as much as the MXPE. Since my MXPE has been highly reliable and has performed splendidly for me in every respect -- including battery life and quality of photos -- the difference in price made this decision a no-brainer.

[x] I'm not fun of those "High-Tech phones" but I consider unwise
to Get back to older-Models like Note 5 : Why not wait for
the Note 8 for those in love with Samsung devices.?

I sure hope so, since I just bought another, last week!
BH Photo had the 64GB model for $270. I'll keep that one on stock and play root junkie with the 32GB that is not relegated to backup / toy.
