I too have lower notifications. I have cleared cache and done a factory reset. Volume is turned all the way up in settings and music plays loud. However it is just the notifications that are very quiet.
Any ideas on how to clean the cache? I haven't seen it on any forums yet.
Same directions for the Moto X apply. https://motorola-global-portal.cust...prod_answer_detail/a_id/107107/p/30,6720,9541
I had the same problem. If you have developer mode turn on and have all of the animations turned off it won't work. Turn the animations to .5 and it will work again. (Took me 3 factory resets and 2 hours to figure that out).
Why would you want to do that? What in the holy heck?! Change animation duration scale to 10 and moto display will illuminate for near 30 seconds!
Is this a bug or what?
Yeah, that's my point. It shouldn't be tied to animations. Why would you want to do that?
Maybe it shouldn't be tied to that, but I'm glad it is. I had mine set up .5 and it really turned on and off way too fast. At . 1 it stays on for the perfect amount of time!Yeah, that's my point. It shouldn't be tied to animations.
The delay for the ringer/speaker is intentional according to a Moto/Lenovo forum moderator. Take it fwiw. This was definitely more than only a security update, but whether you notice or not is debatable.
There's also an update for the JBL speaker. It sounds better and louder IMO.
Sorry, it was in a forum for soak participants so I cannot share the link.Do you have the link to that post? That issue is about the only thing keeping me from using this phone full time.
