Google pictures uploading problems

I am running updated Google photo apps and originally was syncing but on August 23 it stopped uploading pics. All settings are OK (plenty of space), but it doesn't recognize that the wifi is on to upload pics. When you try to manually it gives me the option to do it over the Cellular data which I don't want to do. Anyone else having that problem? Is this a phone issue? Another forum suggested a phone issue and to factory reset, but I wanted to see if others with a z had this problem. Thanks

Haven't had any issues. Reboot? Clear cache? Reinstall app?

Yes. I've tried those but still nothing?!

it's specifically saying that it's waiting on wifi to upload/sync? Have you logged into your Photos account on a computer to make sure everything looks happy there? Only other thing I can think of is factory reset on the phone... very odd issue

*edit* have you tried on more than one wifi to make sure it's not somehow a wifi network issue?

Yes, tried several wifi. No. Pictures are not showing up. Agree, it was working fine and then that.

Got it to work. Removed the wifi and readded. Immediately started to download... Didn't require a factory reset.
