Looking for a little help. I have the Z2 Force and my wife has the Z2 Play. We have the same version of Chrome, but she does not have the setting to add a home page. Pics below, mine first. Any help would be appreciated.

I'll have to search how to do that, new to Android. I saw my daughter's G5 Plus is the same as my wife's. Theirs are unlocked while mine is with At&T, I didn't know if that has anything to do with it either.

The OP is asking about an option in Chrome to set a home page (i.e., you tap a Home button for the browser and it brings up your selected home page, or that home page appears when you open a new tab). The option you're pointing out is how to create a website shortcut on the phone's homescreen.

As far as I know, that hasn't been an option in the stable Chrome. It's an option for the Chrome that comes preinstalled in Samsung phones (or at least it was at one point). Which version of Chrome are you using, @CaymanDreamin, and did it come preinstalled on the phone, or did you install it yourself?

It came installed, screenshot of version is below. Mine is through AT&T, while my wife's and daughter's phone are unlocked.

That's interesting -- I know that the preinstalled Chrome on Samsung devices did this, but I didn't realize Moto was doing the same. Does your preinstalled Chrome also update through the Play Store like all of your other apps?

EDIT: I just checked my old Honor 5X (which also has Chrome preinstalled), and that also has a Homepage option. But none of my Google devices (Nexus 5 & 7, Pixel XL) have it. I guess it's a modification made by the phone manufacturer, maybe?

On your wife's Z2 Play, was Chrome preinstalled there as well, or is there a separate stock browser?
