I want a high end rugged phone

As someone who drops phones on the reg, who doesn't like cases, and who attends pool parties all the time, I would like a rugged phone.

But damnit, I'm also a gadget nerd and want a damn high end one! None of this 2.1 nonsense (which is likely to not get 3.0)! None of this Blur nonsense!

High! End!


In the mean time, I hope this phone sells extremely well, because that'll make my wish *that* much more likely to come true sometime next year.

Btw, they need to release phones like this in the Spring time, so they can really tout that water-resistant bullet-point.

I want a rugged highend world phone with stock Android on it. And one of those new-fangled dualcore CPUs.

Also, I'd like a pony.

But seriously, it does seem odd that there aren't any highend products like this. High margins are important on the top end, so perhaps that explains it?

Well don't discount the processor, its just barely slower than a Droid X.

Only downside is 2.1... it really should be launching with 2.2 non blur
