Ford Sync Text Messaging

I have gotten exactly 4 text messages through my DROID 3 to show up on my Ford Sync. I know it works now, but for the life of me I cannot figure out why it works so little, or so randomly. If it works once, it should just work. Has anyone else had this problem?

Just hooked mine up but wondering what Sync do you have? I Have the new Explorer with the MyFord system and when I downloaded the phonebook, I did not get the pictures. Wobdering if you have the 8" screen.

I have my wifes droid 3 connected to our mkx and none of her messages are coming through sync. Anyone else have any luck?

Was told that if the pics don't download with your phonebook, the phone is not compatible for that feature with the MyFord. Have not tried the texting yet. Will try today and let you know.
