D3 Poor Performance - Contacts FC

My wife has an unrooted D3. The phone lag is horrible.

The worst example is her contacts. The contacts app takes 3-5 seconds to scroll and constantly force closes when trying to select a contact to call.

My searches on this issue show that it typically has to do with freezing Yahoo mail authenticator or Yahoo contacts. She has not done that. Her phone is totally stock as it comes in the box.

Any help is appreciated.

I haven't had any lag problems. New updated os is slowly getting to users and fix alot of issues . I got my update and phone runs better. I occasionally checked for updates by going to settings - about phone - system updates. Also under sound setting enable software update alert.
