Can anyone connect the Turbo to Win. 8.1 x64 over ADB?

I have reinstalled the SDK, enabled developer mode on the Turbo, tried 2 computers and multiple cables: nothing makes the Turbo ask to authorize the connection.

Has anyone gotten this to work? I'd really like to back up my stuff before a facroty reset....

I don't have a Turbo but:

1) Have you installed the Motorola driver? Motorola - Mac & Windows Drivers

2) Have you read Windows 8.1 - Install unsigned drivers?

I had.

I finally got it to work. Had to update my device drivers in the device manager and pick Mot Composite Device as the driver. Took a few days but I finally backed up
