Noise that X makes when you press the screen?

you know how you can set a tone to "click" when you selected and press a app of whatever on your screen? Well my brothers phone is very loud and min you can barely hear.

i have my volume all the way up on my notifications, meida and ringer.

anyone knoe where to adjust the volume of this "click" sound?

There is no click when you touch an app icon ... at least with the stock 2.2. It's all quiet. But you can opt in Settings to have sounds with various "touches" and this may be one of them.

yeah thats what i meant..... if you touch something on th escreen it makes the noise. his is real loud mine you can barely hear. all stock, never rooted, never overclocked or anything like that

try downloading cvolume from the market. it allows you to adjust different volume levels on your device. you can also change an option within your sound settings to use a different volume level for your ringtones and notifications. the option that you are looking for within cvolume is called system. heres a screenshot of what it looks like...
