CM7 questions

now that i''m running my triumph on CM7, does anybody have any tricks or settings that i need to know about? what about the battery? does anyone else notice that the battery drains faster, or it it just me? i keep hearing about a radio. does that mean an FM radio or something else. theres alot of different settings and i'm afraid to mess with some of them. this is just a general question. i have nothing in particular in mind, just thought that if someone has been running cm7 for a while, they might know something that they could pass onto me. thanks for any help.
