The fourth picture was the one I wanted to see. Before it wasn't clear to me how it would work with the tablet laid flat with the screen up, due to the raised edge of the case. Now, I'm absolutely getting this case.

Can't wait for this case too. Would order off amazon since I have a gift card but work gives me 25% off. So it will be like 30 bucks at Verizon. The case is a must have for this thing.

One thing that caught my eye was that it appears to be held in via a parts of a plastic bezel/shell. I hope it doesnt scratch the unit.

You can get some foam pads that are sticky on one side at wal-mart to protect the tablet. Just put them on the part of the case that contacts the screen.

Anyone notice that you won't be able to charge the xoom while its propped up on the portfolio case? I believe that the charging port is on the bottom, right?

I did notice that actually. To be honest I never found myself needing to charge my iPad while it was cased in a folio. If it was charging it was set down for the night.

It can sit in the case, closed, while on the motorola dock.... very nice.

Yeah, it sucks that you cannot order it now so it is shipped out to arrive on the 24th like Dell/Wirefly are claiming to be doing.
